Fringe

Finally went to have my hair dyed. 2 tone and a 30% discount, costing me $53. Cut my fringe too. Here's how I look like now. Takes a while to get used to it. I like my fringe!! The slanted fringe. Cute? Hehe.

Laogong gave me a big surprise yesterday. He told me he wanted to go ktv. And is not to hear me sing, is he wants to sing. Wow!! The power of his colleague, Alex. I take my hats off this guy.

Feeling giddy again. Maybe I'm too tired from lack of sleep. Gotta rest.

Wind in the stomach

Finally seen the doctor today after 2 days of diarrhoea. He said I had lots of wind in the stomach. So this afternoon, I went round surfing the web to get information on the causes of this. Came out with these few possibilities. Irregular eating time, side effects of medication and incorrect diet. I am to avoid dairy products.

Today is Sultanah's micro-teaching presentation and she happily 'volunteered' me to sing solo in front of the whole class. It's a song about the shape oval, in the tune of twinkle twinkle little star, which I kinda helped her put a tune to the lyrics. If I knew that she really meant it earlier when she told me she would get me to sing, I wouldn't have helped her with that. But of course, I think the song helped her gain a little more marks because she could use the multiple intelligence on musical. Sul, I've no hard feelings about it, don't worry. Haha. Nevertheless, it was a great presentation. She has definitely set the standard. I hope that my presentation will be just as good and engaging. Exchanged my presentation date with Shreen because she wanted a later date and I wanted an earlier date. So it's next Friday and I have just started doing the first portion of my lesson plan. Am not in a good condition to really think and so I've decided to call it a day and rest early.

Laogong's at the pub again with his colleague. Guess I'll go rest now. Got to work tomorrow. Dreading it.

Dinner with Lydia and Twinniex

Had a good time today catching up with Lydia and Twinniex. We finally all met up and had dinner at Secret Recipe at Marina Square. Ordered a lot but we managed to finish up everything on our plates and gossiped quite a bit. Some of the pictures we took while waiting for our food to come. I enjoyed my time. Lydia, we shall meet up again some time next month ok?

Me!

Underlying all these enjoyment, I was actually suffering! Have a terrible case of diarrhoea. Started very early this morning at about 2.50am. And when I was preparing to go school, I thought I thought it cleared already as I didn't keep going to the toilet. However, after school, while I was at Lot1 waiting for twinniex, it started all over again. What is the cause? I don't know. I drank milk last night, but my milk wasn't spoilt nor am I lactose intolerant. Is it my medication again? But if so, why did it come back again after I have not shown any of those side effects for a month? If not this also, it is food poisoning? But I only had sushi yesterday and laogong does not have diarrhoea so it can't be that too. Hope it improves. Or was it from the shock of the accident, since it started right after looking at the accident site? But the diarrhoea can't last that long too right?

Another accident on the road, in front of my house again this morning at 2.45am. A car ramped into the lamp post. My prediction is drunk driving plus speeding. The skidding of the car was so loud that it woke me up and a few seconds later a loud bang followed by the sound of glass shattering. SCDF came to the scene within minutes. The driver I'm sure didn't die but was definitely injured cos that couldn't move him out of the car without using any equipment. The impact was so big that even a strong steady lamp post was slanted 45 degrees to the ground. Imagine that. I watched the happening from my window for about an hour. Call me a busybody, but I just really want to see that the driver is fine.

Should I dye my hair?

AH! So much for retail therapy today. Ended eating a super late lunch cum super early dinner at Suki Sushi at Paradiz Centre. Then walking to Sim Lim and Bugis. Bought all my colour and black ink cartridges for my printer, costing me a whopping $74! I can't believe that my ink is so expensive and considering that that person already gave me a discount. Too bad I can't use imitation ink on my printer as it is still new and since I need the ink to print photographs, better not risk it.

Walked around bugis with the aim of getting those knee length pants/shorts, whatever you call it. But as usual, with my fat tighs and big butt, I have problems choosing a nice pair. It's not that I cannot find my size, it just doesn't look flattering. Before going back, I bought a nice firm pillow. Hope that it will help me to sleep better.

Laogong's rather suay (unlucky) at work. A second customer who wants to cancel his order after signing the sales agreement of the car, and even willing to forefeit a few thousand dollars and still end up with nothing. In the first place, I don't understand why someone who rather pay the money to forefeit a car and why sign a contract without reading the terms and conditions and now make so much noise? But laogong, hang in there. It's through experiences you learn how to deal with customers. So what if a deal falls through? You can always find another one and earn back the money. Plus, you have me here rooting for you.

Also, congrats to Vivien and her bf for passing their driving test on the first attempt.

Reminder: DLK100 class is at 1230 to 1430 tomorrow. Double checked my timetable already. Don't do anything to embarrass myself again.

Feel like dying my hair. Should I? My last dye was more than a year ago. If I do it, I know laogong's not gonna be happy. If I don't do it, I will keep thinking about it. How how how?

DCE 201 class was really hilarious today and really fun. With people like Terrence, Yusri and Michael in the class, they can really liven up the atmosphere. There were supposed to be more monkeys in class today, but they were on mc. If they were there, there will be no end. DCM201 class, first leg of presentation over. I'm not awed by the presentations and I will definitely push myself to do a remarkable presentation. When it comes to theory I admit that I hate to do my readings and such and so I don't do well for my lesson plans but I believe my execution will be better.

Extreme Absent Mindedness

I can't believe it! It's the extreme of being so absent minded and blur these few days. I actually thought my DLK 100 class today is at 12.30pm to 2.30pm, but it should be 10.30am to 12.30pm. I reached school at noon, thinking that I was still very early for class and so I took my time to go to the toilet and freshen up and such. Walked to class at 12.20pm. Was surprised to see everyone there already, which is not usually the case. Then the response from my tutor, "wow, that's very early" and I was stunned. I whispered to Vivian asking her if there was a change in class time and she said no and that Tuesday's class is at 10.30am and then I took out my timetable and check and just slapped myself hard on my forehead. Why didn't I check my timetable? No wonder I felt something was wrong when I didn't see any of my course mates in the train or taking the NIE bus. I felt so guilty and apologised profusely to my tutor and even e-mailed her but still, I feel so embarrassed. And I thought I was all prepared for her lesson. Did her homework nicely, printed out her notes and was early for her class. Someone should just slap me awake. Moral of the story? Check my timetable! Don't depend on memory.

Well, I was a little upset that no one sms-ed me about why I wasn't in class. I thought I had enough friends who will show some concern. Maybe they thought I will be late. But those who know me well enough will know that I am never late for class. I was a little upset over this but being flustered with all the guilt of being late took the better of me. At least Vivian was nice enough to tell me that she'll let me copy the notes on Thursday.

Here's another thing that has been upsetting me. Recently, a lot of people have been asking me why is it that I am not as close to this friend as before. I also don't know. Is it something I have done or spoke harsh words to her hoping that she'll see things from the big picture? But I hope she understands my point of view. When we're together, we act as if nothing is wrong, but I can feel the tension and the coldness. I know that this may sound childish but I won't deny that when I see you closer to other friends, I feel a little jealous. You seem to have much more to talk to them about than talk to me about. I don't know if I am being over sensitive and I sincerely apologise if I did anything to offend you, unknowingly.

Not been sleeping well too. Every night in bed I keep brainstorming for ideas for my DCM201 micro-teaching and DCE201 listening lesson plan. I want it to be a hit and I have generated so many ideas which I think are all quite good. The problem now comes in gelling it all together. How am I going to gel the introduction to the development and finally to the consolidation?

So many things weighing on my mind. I need retail therapy, some exercises and a really good sleep. Lucky laogong is on off tomorrow and we're going out (I hope). Need to refresh myself and get myself back into shape and shove off all these absent mindedness. 4 more weeks of NIE. Will I survive this semester?

200th post!

This is my 200th post! Wow, just a few months of blogging and I've reached my 200th post. Could have been faster, if I blogged everyday though.

There's an even better thing to celebrate about and I'm using this post to dedicate it specially to my laogong. Laogong is doing quite well in his car sales for this month. A total of 4 cars this month, considering that he is still relatively new in this job.
Laogong, I know you have been working very hard. I totally understand why you don't want to take any off days yet, so don't worry about not spending time with me. When you have the feel going, don't stop. It's not about the money that you can spend on me. It's about building up your confidence and saving the money for yourself. I don't need you to spend any money on me (but of course if you want to, I won't stop you, haha). I know you also are working hard to save up for our future.

Laogong, jia you!! You have my fullest support as long as you love your job. I love you.

DCM 201 Test Construction

Time really flies when you are busy. I just spent yesterday night and tonight doing up my DCM 201 assignment on Test Construction. Decided to set a test paper on ratio, for Primary 5. I would think that the paper is a little tough though. But nevermind, I shall try to get a few guinea pigs to try out the paper for me. Anyone wants to try my paper? I've always thought that setting test papers were easy, at least until I entered NIE. There are simply too many things to consider when setting the paper. It's not just a simple search and modify question. At least, one hurdle down. Can start doing my DCE 201 lesson plan for P2. Got to get some idea of what I want to do first. Hope I can finish that by preferrable next week. After that, a few more assignments and then practicum!

Here's a list of assignments, test and whatnots coming up.
DCM 201 Test Construction, due Feb 23 [done]
DCM 201 Micro Teaching on Feb 14

Shoulder Ache

My shoulders ache! Really ache. At first it ached just on my left side because I always carry my bag on that side and so I changed to my backpack. And now both shoulders ache and I wonder why. I've carried much heavier bags before and I have no problems. I don't feel like carrying anything to school tomorrow. I need a massage or some hot pack treatment.

Was at JP this evening with twinniex and went to Toys R Us. They do have some very interesting toys there that is good for teaching aids for Science. I am so tempted to buy. Should I? Each box costs $12.90 and each box teaches different things. I am interested in 5 of the boxes. Should I invest in them? Twinnie tells me better to and I see Sul investing in a lot of these aids too. Maybe I should. But money. Where to get them?

I'm so tired today so my post shall be a short and sweet one. Byebye.

Absent Minded Me.. Again

See I'm so absent minded that I forgot about something that I was so absent minded about.

DCS201 class is on Tuesday and Friday and I kept thinking that it is on thursday. No wonder Sultanah seems to be taking easy in gathering materials for our science experiment while I am like wondering how to find the things in such a short period of time? Goodness gracious me!

Absent Minded Me

There's both good and bad news today regarding my health. Basically, I have so many problems and one of which has shown a major improvement and my doctor said that if I can keep it up, he'll reduce my medicine dosage, and hopefully stop that medication some time much later. The bad isn't totally bad, it just has not shown much improvement, despite my efforts. He's threatening to double my dosage by the next time I see him, if there are no improvements. In the meantime, I still have to watch my diet and start exercising more. I will do it! I will and I must. Temptations have to be resisted.

I am so absent minded these few days. Wonder if it is because I am exhausted. First I forgot my hair mousse yesterday despite telling myself so many times to remember to buy it. Then this morning was when the big drama happened. I left house with my parents as what I normally do for 8.30am lessons. But since the weather this morning was nice, I decided not to hitch a ride to Clementi, but rather to take a nice walk to Bukit Batok MRT station. Walking halfway through, I wanted to take my mobile phone and switch it to silent mode and I realized that I forgot to bring my mobile phone out. The irony is, I kept telling myself, after eating breakfast to remember to put the phone into my bag! Ok, nevermind, so since I was still early (I usually leave house early to go to school), I decided I can go back home to take it. And that was when I realized... I forgot to bring my house keys too! Mum and dad left already and the only person at home was my brother! And he can really sleep and ignore everything. Maybe I should just go to school.

It's not that I cannot live without my mobile phone. I can. But I thought, what if I came home early and no one is in yet? Decided to go back home again after all. So I thought of ways to wake my brother up, like, calling home and his mobile. But how was I supposed to? I have no phone card or mobile phone. Ok nevermind, I did this. Rang the door bell and banged my house door really hard (as if I am a loanshark) for about 10 minutes before my brother opened the door. By that time, I was so in a rush, I came into my room, and just took my keys and left. And I realized just as I slammed my main door shut, I forgot my phone too. So I came back to take and then looking at the time, I had to brisk walk to the MRT Station, if I didn't want to be late for school. What a morning.

Next, throughout the whole day, I kept telling myself to remember to get the mousse, if not I can't style my hair properly. And when I saw the bus that goes straight to my home, I just boarded it. Only when I reached home then I remembered that I had to get my mousse. And so now, I am still without it.

I must remember to get it tomorrow!!

Cravings!

IPA class was very interesting. I wouldn't say I enjoyed it but it was really beneficial. Haven't grasp the full concept yet, but close to already. Need more practice. The thick dictionary really made my bag heavy today. And yet it has the words "CONCISE" on it. One of my friends saw my dictionary and asked, that is called concise? My goodness. Will bring the smaller dictionary next lesson! Try pronuncing beach and bitch, there and then, exhaust, and so on. Wonder how many of you get it right. You'll definitely be surprised by the actual pronunciation without the Singaporean accent to it.

Met twinnie today. Went causeway point to walk walk and to the pasar malam too. Didn't get anything. I kept telling myself that I have to remember to get my hair mousse and guess what? I forgot about it until I reached home. Grrr! Got some primary school textbooks and assessment books from her brother too. English, Maths, Science, ranging from primary 2 to 6 and now I can start doing my assignments. Didn't want to waste my money buying those textbooks because the syllabus is changing next year and it wouldn't make sense to buy the textbooks.

Since I am on the topic of school, practicum is approaching in about a month's time! Posting is still not out and I am anxious to know where I will be going. Will I go back to my own primary school cum practicum 1 school again? Or will I get somewhere else? Face a new culture? Will I go back with the same people as the last practicum?

Have got my doctor's appointment tomorrow. It's going to be another mad rush tomorrow. Starting with lesson at 8.30am to 2.30pm and my doctor's appointment at 3 plus and 4 plus in the afternoon. Long day!

Sigh. I have lots of craving and I really want to eat these but I have to control my diet. I wanna eat/drink the following:

  1. Milo
  2. Durian
  3. Chocolate
  4. Malay Kueh Kueh
  5. Banana (don't know why I have this craze for this now >.<)
  6. Cakes
  7. Kaya
  8. Peanut butter
  9. Bubble Tea
  10. Ice cream!!

IPA

Have decided to be a good girl today and not go out, although I very much want to. Decided not to meet laogong or twinnie today because I have not been home nearly everyday the past week (not including yesterday) for dinner with my family and would feel really guilty if I went out again today.

So, the next thing to do is to stay home and study! I was doing my reflections for my DLK100 and trying hard to memorize the symbols for the IPA - international phonetic alphabet for my class tomorrow. So far, I think I can fairly remember the consonant sounds, but when it comes to the vowels, I get all confused. This topic is indeed interesting and very useful for teachers, but it is like a totally alien language to me again. Takes time to learn and I am determined to do it. Just dug out my oxford dictionary to bring to school for the next few lessons of my DLK class to learn the IPA (i think). It is super thick. Goodness and I have to lug it the whole day. Urgh! I've decided to call it a day after trying really hard to study it.

DCE201 class today was fun! It's ok not being in Jason's class. Jessie's classes are fun too. 3 lessons into this semester and I am enjoying my class. Her activities are really good. She makes it an effort to make lessons enjoyable and interactive. My secondary school impression of her being strict and fierce is now changing to someone who is firm but allows her students to have fun during class. Due to some friends, I think Jason now thinks I am very unhappy about the shift. Goodness. I meant it as a casual remark between friends. Why do they have to tell him about it? How am I going to face Jason without feeling weird? Jason's a good tutor, just like Ludwig and others, but I have to agree, it is good to have a change. I'm happy as I am now. And as usual, no matter what, I will try to find enjoyment in what I do. Hey, why make life a living hell right?

Mum asked me about my Robinson voucher, which I had for my birthday present. She wanted me to give the voucher to my brother to buy his things. I am ok with her taking my voucher to buy cookies from Marks and Spencer or things she want, but why for my brother? Theorectically speaking, I should be the one spending the voucher on myself. Yet how can I say no that I don't want to pass it to him? Can only let it out here.

Laogong's out at Bugis with his colleagues after work today and now I am rotting. Got to find some things to do. Now that I've updated my blog today, maybe I shall go play my mahjong.

Twinnie, take care of your throat please. It's very important for our profession. Remember, a few days of rest will help you gain in future. Let it recover first and stop straining your voice. If not I'll do something to make you regret it. Muahahaha. Take the doctor's advice. It's a must!

Cold!

The temperature as of 11.30pm today is 23 degree celsius. It feels like under 20 degree celsius. It's really cold these few days. Out comes all my jackets and long sleeves tops. At least the rain has stopped, for now. Is the world coming to an end? So many disasters happening. People are killing each other too. When is all these gonna end?

School is moving at quite a fast rate. Decided on the topic of tables in the primary 4 new syllabus for my micro-teaching. Hope to do something fun and exciting. Have to start doing my TOS for my maths test construction. 5 more weeks of school to go.

Feeling so sleepy these few days. It's the year of the pig this year. Maybe I'm trying to feel the mood of the year. Haha, ok, I know it's a lame excuse.

Anyway, was at Shok Li's birthday party for a while yesterday. And saw my old old alumni senior, Chris. He said I have the looks of a Chinese Language teacher and that I look fierce. Even my junior, Moses agreed. Not the china look, but the chinese teacher look. So ironic right? My chinese is half past six and this is not the first time people have thought that I teach chinese. Let Yanling Jie know about this, I think she'll probably hit her head on the wall. Haha.

Okay, logging off now. Freezing here.

Relieved...

It's a relieve. The thing that has been bugging me for the last one month is sort of over. I can finally breathe a sigh of relieve. Guess I can finally have a good sleep tonight. The last few nights' sleep were really bad. With the nice cooling weather and the soft drizzle of the rain, I can finally go to bed without any worries.

It's raining the whole day again today. Wonder when it will stop. Making me sick again. Slightly feverish when I came home and a little bit of cough. Are certain areas in Singapore going to be flooded again? Hope not. Weather's good for sleeping. Has anyone realized that Singapore's really cold the past few days, almost like the climate of Genting? Maybe many thousand years down the line, Singapore may even have snow. Okok, haha, I am talking rubbishing. Enough about that. Oh! But then, it was really hot a few days ago. Erratic!

My first cheque book has arrived from Citibank! Well, since my money is in fixed deposit, this cheque book is as good as useless, until 1 year later, but hey, it's still a cheque book!

I'm so happy my 2 hours break on friday has been taken away, all thanks to my beloved DCM201 class! Everyone has agreed to come for lesson at 8.30am so that we will not have a 2 hours break in the afternoon. And of course, to my tutor too for so graciously agreeing to have lesson earlier. So now, Friday lessons are from 8.30am to 12.30pm. Yes!! More time efficient.

I had a really fun time in DCE201 class yesterday. Tutor's great and the feel of the class is great too, although its a totally brand new class. Hot debates were going on on men not being great listeners and that women are hard to understand. That's life I guess. It's also the first time I have laughed really hard in NIE because of the heated debates between men and women. And this is my first time too seeing my tutor cum secondary school teacher laugh really hard. It has confirmed my opinion of her as a nice tutor.

Had a long conversation with Lydia yesterday. It was great talking to her. We shall chat again soon. In the meantime my dear, follow your heart. Be happy and I'm always here for you.

School...

I feel so sick today. Flu last night and headache the whole day. With a super heavy school bag, my shoulders are aching. Am going to rest soon after updating my blog. School so far has been ok. Not fantastic but alright. Gillian bought me a nice pair of shoes of which she designed it herself and Chris gave me a cute mug.

I've accepted the fact that I have a change in tutor and decided to give her a chance. She seems quite alright. I'm just thankful I don't have that so-and-so. Course notes are still out of stock because the printing lady just doesn't print enough copies! I'm tired of going back to the shop so many times just to know that it is still out of stock.

Just went for hair treatment today at Kimage. Hair feels better now. Didn't do any perming again because it was not necessary and the stylist said not to waste the money. Wait a while more, probably after chinese new year then I can do again. The problem now with my curls is that I do not know how to style and it has no bouncy feel, because the previous person didn't do a good job for me. Thanks twinniex for introducing to me your son! I love my hair and your hair and my brother's hair.

The headache's killing me. I'm logging off now. Bye!

Why?!?!?!?!?!

WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Why must they do something like this to me?

I am going to hate school now.

No more fun.

No more laughter.

No more amusing and interesting stories to hear.

I don't wanna go school anymore.

Sulks.

Headache. Cramps. Stomache. No school no school.

Why did they have to take my out of my TG03 and put me to TG05 and change my tutor?

Why why why?!?!?!?!

I am so sad now. Really sad. Beyond words.

I hate school.

Timetable's out!

Timetable's out and it kinda sucks. Not as nice as I thought to be able to have Thursday off. I have school everyday and what makes it worse are the 2 hours break or just going back to school to attend 1 tutorial! Here's how my timetable is like.

Monday: 1330-1530
Tuesday: 1030-1430
Wednesday: 0830-1030, 1230-1430
Thursday: 1230-1430
Friday: 1030-1230, 1430-1630

My only consolation is that I got back my same DCE tutor and lucky not those tutorials that I do not have good impression of. The thing I don't understand is, why doesn't NIE plan it such a way so that we have one long day and put all the 2 hours tutorial together and give us one or two free days. Like what I was telling Sultanah, they just don't want us to have free days, since we are being paid. 6 hectic weeks coming up and I'm all geared for it. Holidays are good, but I am getting bored. I'm so looking forward to school that I've cleared my study table to make space for me to study (though I think I probably won't).

Just went jogging with my brother. 1 month of not going to the gym and my stamina has really decreased. I estimated the distance covered to be about 3km plus. Couldn't jog at a consistent pace and kept walking. Need to get back to my exercise regime and my brother says we will go jogging at least twice a week. I hope I can stick to that too. No longer the excuse of dizziness or medication side effects so that I can stop exercising. I have to exercise. For my health. Speaking of which, I'm going to NUH tomorrow again. For what? Blood tests. Hate it, but it has to be done.

Got to do a few things these few days:
1. Transfer my money into fixed deposit (for a slightly higher interest rate)
2. Check the status of my medical report (for application of my insurance policy)
3. Change my doctor's appointment now that my school timetable is out

Been watching a few you-tube videos and came across some humorous ones. Unable to copy the embeded codings so can only link the URL. But take a look. I highly recommend it.

Disappointed in them..

I must get this off my chest. I've been trying hard not to blog about this ever since my birthday but I am still feeling really really sore about it. What makes me vexed the most is my closest friends not coming for the chalet and not even sms-ing me about it! I think those friends know who they are and I shall not disclose their names here. Are they even my friends? I wonder.

School Reopens

It's the emergence of school-uniform clad kids again! And it was a very interesting sight. Mini-skirts, tucked out shirts, funky hairstyles and dyed hair! What is the future of schools going to be like, I really can't imagine. Rising trend among the secondary school kids. Twinniex, I hope your kids are not like that. Since your form class is a Sec 1, I don't think you'll have much problems in terms of disciplinary... yet. I hope my primary school kids are easier to handle.

I'm so bored and I am dying to start school, or rather, start working. Yeah yeah yeah, I know, teachers who are working now are all telling me, enjoy your holidays! True also, but teaching is my passion. I can't wait to start. Looking forward to my practicum, and hopefully with the same group of friends who were there previously too. Practicum is from 26th Feb to 11th May and the school which we will be posted to is not out yet. Faster release the dates! As one of my friends said, NIE is slow. How true. Guess what. Even our time table is not out yet. It will only be out tomorrow. Hope my timetable is good. If I am not wrong, by looking at the master timetable, thursday I won't have school and my days are relatively short. Latest I'll end is 3.30pm and it is only once a week that I ended that time. Hope I'll be in the same class with Sul, Chris or Gillian too. Most likely, I guess.

So anyway, yesterday's dinner, we ended up having steamboat with the porridge base at Tan Quee Lan Street. 5 of us altogether, laogong, brother, twinniex, gilbert and I, and a surcharge of $2 per head because it was the new year, making the price $16.80 per head. I don't know what is it about my luck with steamboat but everytime when we have that, somehow or rather, I will always be seated to where the direction the steam is blowing to. Grrrr! And there was this very cute looking fishcake which unfortunately ended up in my stomach.

Questionaire

How's the new year so far? Ok for me, I guess. Nothing much, except with a potluck dinner at my house yesterday. Recently, I've grown a little crazy about korean pears. It's those super big pears that has the shape of apples (*shutters*), even though I hate apples, and it is brownish in colour. When buying these korean pears, make sure that it is from korea and not china. The ones from china are not sweet at all. The korean ones are fabulous. If you still do not know when I am referring to, watch Da Chang Jin. They use this pear to cook a lot because it is sweet, I guess.

I'm a little bored and so I decided to do this questionaire taken off from Michelle.

Happy New Year!

Wishing everyone out there a happy new year and may the year, 2007, bring lots of joy to you and your loved ones. May 2007 also be a good year for you.

I've ushered in 2007 with laogong and his da jie's friends. Went to his place to look at the fireworks across the causeway. Though I bet the sight at esplanade will be better, at least, I do not have to squeeze with the crowd there.

My wishes for this year are:

  1. To get my medical condition improved
  2. Accomplish project code 27
  3. Gain enough confidence in my driving to convince my parents that I can drive alone
  4. Laogong excels in his job

2006 wasn't a good year for me. I hope 2007 is better. Maybe I should end with creating a list of the top 10 memorable things in 2006 for me. It is in no particular order.

  1. My 21st birthday celebration
  2. Passing my driving test (although I did bang my dad's car after that)
  3. Teaching at Keming Primary School for my practicum and knowing Wesley, Ridhwan, Adrian, Lakshmi
  4. Being with laogong for 3 years (and still counting)
  5. Having grown closer to Sultanah as a friend
  6. Stepping into a sex shop (haha, you have to be at least 21 to do so)
  7. Meeting up with Lydia & Audrey
  8. Starting this blog
  9. Going to Genting with laogong and his family and friends
  10. Year of sales! Clothes, shoes, bags, cosmetics, accesories, etc. (I feel that 2006 has a lot of sales, don't you think so?)

There you go. Maybe when I am not so sleepy, I'll do another list of something else tomorrow. Good night!
