Shameless woman!

Wow! How shameless can someone be? To know who I am talking about, read my previous post.
What I saw today is totally unbelieveable! She sits on my brother's lap when I enter the room and doesn't even bother to get up. And, there is a chair next to my brother's chair. Then I turned around, and I saw her bra on the bed. It's like on display for everyone to see and she makes no attempt to keep it. Well, it also probably means that 99% she isn't wearing it. They took an afternoon nap, despite waking up at noon. I guess you know where she's sleeping. Right next to my brother, on his bed. Come on, I know couple can be initimate, but for goodness sake, there is someone around. Even after coming to 3 years with laogong, I do not behave like that at all. I'm still waiting for the day they break up. Haha, I know I'm evil, but... I hate her!

Anyway, I feel so refreshed today. Swam 22 laps non-stop before I decided to call it a day as it started to rain. I have definitely lost my stamina but while swimming I kept telling myself I can do it. Feels good, maybe I shall go down to swim tomorrow morning before going for lessons in the afternoon. I think it will keep me awake, refreshed and roaring to go!

Was reading the forum and I was wondering... Why are kids so hard to control these days?

Presentation was good!

The presentation went well! Almost everyone liked my PowerPoint Slides. Everyone enjoyed the activity and I guess, we can say that it is a huge success for you. We've set the standard for the class, just hope the other groups don't kill us. Our lecturer is very pleased with us too. We now just have to type a reflection of today's session and submit to him a folio and we're done. There goes 30% of our module marks. I hope that we'll do well for this module. Bs no longer satisfy me. Everyone at NIE is practically fighting this semester to get the cross over. I hope I get offered that too, but well, let nature take its course. If I get it, I get it. If not, maybe take a part time course at UniSIM? Most importantly, I must work hard!

A message to Sultanah, Nafsiyah and Christal... you gals rock! We had great team spirit and this is one group I really enjoy working with. All our online discussions, after school discussions and well, everything.

To Sultanah: Thank you for giving so much input to the team. Your ideas were great! We've grown closer this semester because of so many modules together. Let's keep our friendship growing.
To Nafsiyah: I've known you only because of this module and I must say that you make a great friend. And thank you for all the support and ideas for the learning activities.
To Christal: Thank you for running all the logisitics for us. It must have been tiring for you. Hope that you are feeling better now. And of course, meeting you in DED200 this semester and working again with you is great!

Can't imagine time pass by so fast. One year a NIE already, 1 practicum done and 1 more practicum coming up. Postings will be out in September but it is very likely that we'll be posted back to the school where we did our first practicum. But I've heard that Lakshmi won't be going back with us because she changed her address and mostly likely, her school will change. Nevertheless, at least with the 4 of us, we can still encourage and support each other.

For those in my msn, they would have seen that my nick is "some people just have no shame". Know who I am referring to? None other than my brother's "wife". Think about it. She stays here just as if this is her hotel she frequents, like 3 times a week. Does no housework. Borrows our stuff and not even a single thank you. She washes her clothes here, but the person doing the laundry is my dad, mum or me. She doesn't feel ashamed about it, but I help her feel ashamed. She wore bikini to go swimming. Ok, accepted. My dad had to hang her bikini for her to dry. MY GOODNESS. I was telling laogong, a bikini is almost like a bra and my dad had to wash and hang for her? Imagine. Take my goggles, wear my slippers and not a single appreciation. Have you seen anyone with skin thicker than her?

I think I've got worms in my tummy. Always hungry these few days and I keep looking for food, secretly of course. Don't want to get skinned by my parents. I can have breakfast at 10am and by noon, I'm hungry again. When class ends at 2-4pm, I'm hungry again. I'll snack and come home for dinner at about 7pm. By 9pm, I'm hungry again. I wasn't such a glutton. How to cut down? Each meal I eat is a full meal, not a half meal and because of this, I am putting on weight (I measured!), although lots of people have been telling me I lost weight.

Oh well, anyway, here's a little comic strip for your funny bones.

I'm so pinkie!

Major presentation tomorrow on Education, Schools and Society. Took us 2 full weeks and almost everyday of hardwork to plan for tomorrow's presentation. Hope it goes well and a brief chat with our tutor shows that he believes our group will do well. Kudos to my group members, Sultanah, Christal and Nafsiyah! It's been great working with you gals.

I cut my hair, last wednesday. Been more than a week since I last updated. Too busy. Went to Sandstorm at Jurong Point. Cut with Gillian. Service wise, not too bad, but can be improved. Total damage: $19.90, cut+wash+blow by senior hairstylist. The initial look when she just blow dry and style my hair was quite cute. After washing and drying my hair myself, I realised, it doesn't look that cute anymore! Hmph! She cut a lot of fringe for me, a little too much for my liking and now, I have to pin up some of my fringe. I don't wanna look like Paul Twohill. But many have been telling me its ok and its nice. Hmmmmmmm.

I was looking around my room and my bag and I realized I have a lot of pink stuff.

  • Mouse pad
  • Handbags
  • Earrings & Accessories
  • Note pad
  • File
  • Shoes
  • Tissue box
  • Diary
  • Shirts
  • Skirts
  • Wallet
  • Comb

And the list goes on and on and on and on.. yah.. you get the picture.

Anyway, I must thank Gillian for the famour amos cookies today! Yumyum!

WorldofWarcraft is getting more fun by the minute. We have not reached level 40 yet, close to only. Now currently level 38 half. Soon, we'll hit 40 and can get our mount! By this weekend, we should get it.

I am a shopaholic!

My brother is getting on my mum's nerves. He's being stubborn and totally inconsiderate and disrespectful. Must give him one tight slap before he'll wake up. Knowing that my mum is not totally recovered yet, he is not appreciative of the things my mum does for him. He doesn't even bother to tell anyone where he is going or who he is going out with. Sometimes I feel like blasting in his face.

Sudden keen interest in re-learning the theory of music all over again. Borrowed some reference books from my teacher today and if there are any that I want, she'll help me order from the supplier.

Just watched America's Next Top Model, season 6. Wow! I am looking forward to this season. Snippets of next episode shows that this season's competition is definitely not an easy one. Bitchy. Daring. Outspoken. Personality.

In school today, Chriel and Vivien commented on my dressing. Vivien asked me where I bought my shirt from. Chriel said that I come to class every day with new clothes she hasn't been before. Haha, I am taking it positive, that I have good fashion sense (I hope!) But that also means, I shop too much. I admit. I am a shopaholic! HELP!

I shop at least once a week and I can buy anything, anywhere, as long as the price is reasonable. Gheez! I am already controlling myself, and keep telling myself, I don't need that. Walk off and don't buy. But sometimes, my mind keeps thinking of that item. Current craze: Shoes and bag. I am looking for wedges! Most of those I see looks very aunty-ish. I want nice and fashionable wedges, at a cheap price. It's hard to find, as I have not found it yet. The bag that I want, hmmm... don't know how to describe. Well, it has to be pink, plastic material and is carried on the shoulders. Feminine is a must!

Well, I shall go see if I can find some nice pictures of the wedges and bag that I want and post it up next time.

Feeling pissy

I am feeling so pissed yesterday and today.

I've already been helping out so much at home already and mum's still saying that I am slacking. What else does she expect me to do? What about that precious son of hers? The home is a hotel to him now, whereby my dad and I are he and his girlfriend's servants and his food and lodging are all paid for.

My DED200 lecturer didn't turn up for tutorial class yesterday, saying that he forgot that there was class yesterday and thought that it was it was off. So since my group is presenting on the first topic, and is due in 2 weeks time, he said he wanted to meet us today at 1pm. Spoilt my day a little because planned to go bugis village with Gillian today. Grr.

Went to bugis only for a little while. Didn't buy anything. Maybe no retail therapy that's why I am still feeling pissed. I want new shoes and a bag!

Lots of research and article readings to do. And a maths problem sums worksheet. Drawing models. My favourite! Projects are piling up already.

Update on ah gong: He's recovering well and in normal ward already.

I've signed up with Cozycot. It's great!

More clothes...

Shopping again!! Bought 3 tops today. Resisted buying bottoms. Love all 3 tops. Total $65. Special price for me. Got it at bugis.

Ah gong's going for operation tomorrow for his colon. I shall not elaborate all the ugly happenings in my family as to why ah gong is going for the operation, but it against his wishes. Wish ah gong all the best!

Have not been updating as I keep playing WoW for the past week. I am finally level 36 and only 4 more levels to go before I can get my free mount. Yippie! Should be able to level up to 40 in 2 weeks time. Hopefully.

I am thinking of joining the Cotters club. It's a forum, CozyCot and it seems really really interesting and insightful. Those who want to take a look at the forum, here is the link:

I think I will sign up an account later.

Had steamboat for dinner at liang seah street. It wasn't too bad and the ma la soup was good. I enjoyed dinner. Price wise is slightly more than $20 per person. I'll give that place a 3.5 stars out of 5.

Updates...

It's been about a week since I last updated. Here's an update on things going on the past week.

Mum's recovering well. Have been busy doing lots of housework last week and this week too. Cooking, mopping, washing and ironing. But I realized that it is good because when the momentum is there, I find myself clearing up my room too. My table is neat now, though I believe it is a matter of time before it becomes a tornado zone again. Lots of people have been coming over to my place too to see mummy so that explains all the mopping and clearing.

School has started. This semester's timetable is more relaxed but because of this, I have all the more reason to believe that projects and assignments are going to be the killer. There will be no exam this semester if I am not wrong.

Been playing WoW too during my free time. I am finally level 33 and almost 34 but I was too tired to continue playing last night. Have not logged into game today as they are having server maintenance.

Just went to This Fashion with laogong and his mum and sisters on Sunday. 30% off. Bought 4 skirts again and a cardigan. I need shirts not skirts, but I always end up buying skirts. Does anyone know where I can buy cheap (less than $25 per shirt), nice and semi-formal shirts and are available in large sizes?

Want to get a bag and somemore shoes next.

Mum's coming home

Good news!

Mum's going to get discharged tomorrow. She's good enough to go home. Today her physiotherapist brought her to climb 2 flights of stairs. Mum's say its not that tiring on her. It's good. Her doctors are optimissitic too. Finally, mum is coming home after a week. I'll be cooking. Yeah!

That's all I have to update for today.
