*mentally unstable*

Happy. Excited. Euphoric. Over the moon. Lively. Joyful. Cheerful. Contented. Merry. Playful. Glad. Jubliant. Jolly. Estactic. Satisfied. Upbeat. Elated. Thrilled.

Ok, I guess you get the idea. I am happy! Why? It's because of the storybook that I just read finish last night. Nora Roberts - Brazen Virtue. Definitely a unique story of murders relating to phone sex, causing rape. In the midst of the investigation, a sweet romance blossoms. The romance in this book is definitely not the steamy type as in her other books. This kind of romance is a very straightforward, sweet, loving, practical romance. Makes me feel so sweet and smiley and that's why I am happy! Go grab that book, it is worth reading!

I am so happy that I am irritating my dearest laogong. But like what I told him, too bad. He got to bear with me. He has to accept me for who I am right? Haha. Just like how I am stuck with him.

Just went out for dinner. Auntie Joyce's treat because she got a promotion. They are now in my dining room, hmmm, having a social activity. Can't say the exact activity here. Haha. Apparently, my uncle is upset about the soccer match yesterday with chelsea and don't know who. He and Jerome kept arguing. Jerome kept teasing my uncle.

Gill's coming tomorrow for lunch and mum is going to teach her how to make those beaded accessories. I got to make another 2 more bracelets. 1 for laogong's mum and 1 for Chris. Probably will make it tomorrow.

Think I'll sign off here. Am going to irritate my laogong now. The method is still unknown. I will just do what I do best. Drive him up the wall. Muahahahahaha.

General Election

General Election. May 6 2006. And I can't vote. 3 reasons why.

1. I am not 21.
2. There is no contest in Jurong GRC.
3. I hate politics.

Everyone's rejoycing over the progress package. I am not. 1 reason why.

1. I don't have it!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Why? Under 21!!)

Fine! Shall wait till next election.

Civil servants received the bonus in march. I did not. 2 possible reasons why.

1. Under 21
2. Less than 1 year in service.

Fine! Shall not bother about election then.

Donate to Marie's Donation Fund.

I met laogong at bugis after he ended work, about 6pm. And in a short time, I spent $120. Dinner was at Rossinis, but honestly, I didn't enjoy dinner, maybe we ordered the wrong dishes. Dinner itself costs $40 exact. No GST or service tax. Then we went to walk around bugis. I ended buying 2 tops and 2 skirts. The tops are quite alright, nothing too fancy, but looks nice. The skirts are unique. I like both. But out of these 2, I can only wear 1 to work, but even to wear that to work, I will have to wear it with a formal top. The other one is just unique, too frilly to wear for work. All these $80. I like the clothes, but now I feel so heartache. Got not enough money to last me till my pay comes in. Who want to donate to Marie's donation fund? Any amount is accepted.

Read finish another storybook today, by J. D. Robb (a pseudonym of author Nora Roberts) - Naked in Death. This is the first book of the thrilling suspense series. Some of the ther titles are Glory in Death, Rapture in Death, Holiday in Death. Eve Dallas is a New York police lieutenant hunting down murder(s), in each of this book. The setting is a futuristic setting in the year 2040+ whereby technology plays a very huge role. I must admit that every single book that Nora Roberts has written is indeed top grade. Well, not to mention the steamy romance. Going to embark on my next storybook, Brazen Virtue.

I finally managed to get hold of my NIE Supervisor for my practicum. She caucasion and her accent is quite difficult for me to understand. Anyway I will be meeting her on the 8th May.

I was pissed just now, with my brother. He thought I didn't hear what he said about me. He's staying over at his girlfriend's house today. I told him mum will definitely not be happy. He said he told her already and that he is not like me so guai (well-behaved) to always stay home, if I am not going to break the rules, he will. I didn't reply him but inside my heart I was thinking, "Hey, nothing wrong with being guai. And, I don't break rules because I respect my parents and I know that they are worried." When will he grow up? When will he learn? His world now is just a world with 2 people. He and his girlfriend. All that proclamation of him being filial and holy is total bullshit. What's the point of going to church early and for extra services if he doesn't know the meaning of it? What's the point of saying that he wants to be closer to God if he keeps spending all his time with his girlfriend? Total bullshit and a load of crap!

Ok nevermind, I will go admire my clothes now. I like the clothes a lot. Too bad, my family is not in the habit for us to wear and show them and give comments. So I can only silently admire my newly bought clothes and look forward to the day I can wear them. But if I was a laogong's place, I bet we will now be commenting on it and finding ways to match the clothes. Oh well, laogong faster earn money to support me then I can move over... hahahaha.. =p Anyway, laogong also bought a new shirt today. Another new look for him. Yandao!

Drilling, drilling and more drilling

Guess what. The drilling continued on today! I nearly went nuts. Figured out that the drilling came from the house below mine, and not above because there was so much sand and cement on my floor and i can see the footprints going down the stairs from my floor. I am so pissed. They better stop it tomorrow, if not... if not.. I also don't know what to do.. haha..

I'm home alone now. My parents went for dinner for my ah gong's birthday (today is the actual day) and Uncle Seifee wanted to give a treat. I don't like him. Let me describe him. He is my 6th uncle's "friend". "Friend" because both of them are males and they are living together is some rich bungalow. Wherever my 6th uncle goes, he goes along too. He calls himself my uncle's rice bowl. Theorectically speaking, he is not a part of the family but he treats himself as a big boss. He dares to scold my relatives when he feels that they are not treating ah gong right. To him, money is power. Idiot. Ok so anyway, because of him, my uncle also converted to Muslim. I have nothing against that seriously but he should know that the rest of the family is Chinese. During christmas he can complain to my mum why she place the ham in front of him. Excuse me. My mum set the table already and then he just go there to sit. If he doesn't like, he can jolly well just change to another place. Why must we change the table layout because of him? Agree? Now, during Christmas, my mum doesn't even take out the ham. She leaves it in the kitchen and tell my relatives to go to the kitchen to get it. Why? Because of this big idiot. Too bad, he's older than me, whenever I see him, I still got to greet him. My complaints about him can go on and on. Not too nice to keep writing here. Don't know who is reading.

Decided to write my blog earlier today so that I can explore dreamweaver later. Still considering moving my blog. Can't really figure out how to use it yet. Managed to design out something but I can't seem to open the file again.

Anyway, spent most of the day watching Da Chang Jin. I finished 7 episdoes today. Did a bracelet for Auntie Joyce too. Took me nearly 3 hours. Because I spent some time figuring out how to arrange the beads and once I got the hang on it, then I increased my pace. Looks very nice. Feel like making one for myself too. Maybe will do it tomorrow. Hmm.

Itching to go KTV. Was supposed to go out today. But was cancelled last minute. By the time another of my friend smsed me to go out, I was so engrossed in Da Chang Jin that I didn't want to go out anymore. Wondering what's wrong with my new DVD R/RW. I can't seem to play Da Chang Jin on it. It runs, but there's no sound. I try using Nero to read, it plays the start and hangs as soon as it moves into the show. But I have no problem watching my anime, Gunslinger Girl on both. Anyone has solutions as to what I can do?

Am I Too Emotional?

Just finished reading my storybook today. Nora Roberts' - Rising Tides. This book is one out of a series of 4 books, on four brothers Cameron, Ethan, Philip & Seth, each coming from different backgrounds, sharing their brotherly bond, finding their romance and staying united through obstacles. Never fails to touch my heart.

It is understandable that I cry while watching huan zhu ge ge (right?) but have you heard of anyone crying while reading a book? I do. One example? Me. When the characters are happy, I'm happy and when they are sad, I can just imagine how they are feeling. Maybe that's the beauty and strength of books written by Nora Roberts.

Did my pedicure and manicure today. French manicure. And both toes and fingers nails have little flowers on them. Quite nice I must say. Package is ending soon. Left with 1 more pedicure. Should I sign another package with them?

Was so irritated this morning. I wonder what is it with my neighbour or neighbours. Drilling again. Woke me up at 9am! Can't they just do it finish in one day? Why do they have to keep drilling on and on. Drove me nuts, so mad, I wanted to smash everything I could see. Grrr. Am I over-reacting again?

Exam's Over

Finally! Exam's finally over. Done with this semester. Maths paper was tough, but I managed to do, just not sure whether my methods and solutions are acceptable. I hope so.

After the paper, Chris, Faith, Gillian and I went to Jurong Point to celebrate by eating ice-cream. Today's ice-cream is fabulous. Today's batch tastes better than normal. I had durian freezeball ice cream (flavoured ice + ice cream in a cup), and the rest of them had a 2 scoop ice-cream. We sat in the shop and chat and as usual, I am the last one to finish eating. Ok... I am a slow eater. I know. Well, I'm savouring my ice-cream. Haha.

Analyzed some of those jewellery making patterns with my mum. Mum asked me to make 1 for Auntie Joyce (Dad's friend's wife) as they are treating us to dinner this Sunday. Our guess is that it is auntie Joyce's birthday. We were stuck for a long time, deciding the colour to use.

Tried calling my NIE Supervisor again today. No one answer. Is she on leave? All my friends can contact their supervisor except me.

Now that exam is over, I free so relieved and free. Going to accompany Gillian tomorrow for her makeover. Apparently, she won some lucky draw or something like that. Anyway, it seems too good to be true, so better to be safe than sorry, I'm going to accompany her, to act as an additional brain. Hehe. It's at boat quay.

Need to go do my pedicure and probably manicure too. The skin on my heels is cracking again. My nail art also dropping off piece by piece. Maybe if we end early tomorrow, I will get it done. Got to make a bracelet for Chris' Birthday too. Will probably have to pack my room again. Haha. And I can start learning some coding. I think I want to migrate my blog to laogong's server (or whatever it is called). Blogspot is so unstable and it is irritating the hell outta me. Grr!

Maths!!

I am so mentally drained today and physically tired. I am so excited about my practicum that I could not sleep the whole night and previous night. Kept dreaming of my primary school days and wondering how my practicum will go. So, I decided to call my practicum school as soon as the teachers have finished their flag raising ceremony. Called at 8.30am. Yeah, I know. Very early, even the teacher in charge for practicum teachers has not even reached office. They left her a message and she called me back at about 9.45am. She told me that she has just received the letter from NIE and that she has yet to speak to the principal and vp. So, she will call us back another day, probably some time in May, after they have finished the mid-year examinations. Then I tried calling my NIE supervisor. Called so many times and no answer, so I left a voice message in her answering machine, and still no reply. Wonder why.

Anyway, went to Yew Tee MacDonalds to study with Chris and Gillian. The environment is very nice. I like the seats. It was very quiet initially, but when class has ended for the day, the place was full of secondary school kids, shouting and running about. Boys. Sweaty and stink! I was practically suffocating.

We did Maths. I made so many stupid and careless mistakes. Hope I don't make them tomorrow. I need a clear and fresh mind and I am aiming for distinction for tomorrow's paper. I know that Maths is the only subject that I can score and dare to aim high.

Today is also dua yi's husband's burial. I didn't go, but my parents went. She says that my dua yi and cousins are doing fine, probably because they were expecting it already. Pray that God is with them through these days.

Dad's Birthday Celebration

Dinner is simply fantastic! Yum Yum. Yuki Yaki. We ate a lot and I am very full. We made ice-cream too. The ice-cream was a little bit disappointing though. Nevertheless, I enjoyed myself. Too bad laogong had to go home by himself because my brother's girlfriend is staying over tonight, so there wasn't any space in the car. Laogong hao wei da!!

Mum's like very pleased with lao gong. Think maybe because laogong peeled the prawns today and when he talked to them, shows his thinking and such.

On my new computer now. Feels very neat and clean. Need to install a few more programs. Short update today.

Meeting Chris and Gillian tomorrow to study!

Ah Gong's Birthday Celebration

It is quite a happy day for me today, although I had to work. Nevertheless, I got a piece of good news when I went to work. May 6 is elections day and is a public holiday, and there's no work! YES!!! Let my students do mainly theory today, so that while they are doing their work, I can study for my math exam too. Got no choice. I don't have the time!

After work, I went to church and then for Ah Gong's Birthday Celebration. Ah Gong is 91 years old this year, still going strong, though he was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. Dinner was awful, to be truthful. $350 per table. Each table 10 people and we had, cold dish, sharks fin soup, chicken, asparagus, bee hoon and red bean soup (soup only!). It is so expensive. Luckily, we were given a small function room, with karaoke system.

Sang with my cousin, Joyce (who is also going to be a NIE like me, but she graduates earlier) Yong Qi, Lydia and Hou Lai. The mtvs are so pirated. The music and sound is exactly similar to the MTVs we see, but the pictures, all scenary. We wanted to sing Xiao Wei too, but the words totally didn't suit the song so we stopped. Lousy! Mike and sound system is horrible too. Mum said where she was sitting it sounded very loud, and we were already holding the mike nearly 1m away. Hungry now. Hehee.

Took many pictures too. With my brother, my godparents, my cousins. Won't be posting any of these pictures up here because of privacy. Anyway, I've decided to step out of my quiet self and communicate more with my cousins and relatives. Shall no longer just sit in one corner and drink water. Haha. Time for my to grow up.

Received my posting for my practicum. I am going back to my primary school for my teaching assistantship. Keming Primary School. Really excited and I am wondering where any of my teachers are still there and yet worried too. It's going to be a whole new experience. Finally! Since when I was in primary school, I wanted to be a teacher. And now, I am going to be one.

Laogong's coming to do my computer for me tomorrow, hope everything runs smooth. Then we're going out for dinner with my family and brother's gf. Excited!~

DSS100 Test

DSS 100 test is over! I'm happy that it is over. Not too happy that I don't think I will score well. My consolation is, everyone is saying that. Which means, everyone won't do very well, and they will most probably moderate the scores, which means, I may not do that bad afterall. Oh well, since it is over, shall not think about it. Move on. Coming up next, DSM 101 Exam. Oh ya, tell you all something ridiculous. They took a full solid half an hour to collect and count the papers. First time I see invigilators count papers, count till so long.

Just cut dad's birthday cake. Emicakes is good. Their cakes are just right and fluffy. Not too sweet. Oooo. Today, we had to cut the cake without my brother, because he said that he won't be home by 11pm and I know my parents do not sleep so late, so we had to cut earlier. Damn. He won't even make an exception and come home earlier today. My dad is quite disappointed I think. He kept hoping that my brother will come home and join in the celebrations.

Anyway, my mum and I sang the birthday song VERY loudly and my dad was trying to hush us. He's shy at this age. Hmmm. Haha. I wish my dad a very happy 58th Birthday.. tomorrow.

Rushing to finish my storybook now, because it is due tomorrow. So till tomorrow's update, bye!
